What is it?
Micro-needling is a collagen inducing facial treatment that uses a pen device with 12 tiny needles to create small channels in the skin; stimulating your bodies natural healing process which is what stimulates more collagen and elastin resulting in more plump, thick skin, less fine lines, wrinkles, reduced pore size, and builds up pitted and raised scars while simultaneously strengthening your skins natural barrier helping to reduce sensitivity and balancing out oil production. This process speeds up cell turn over as well, resulting in less black heads, congestion, and pigmentation.
Micro-needling with Stem Cells
Micro-needling on its own causes your body to create new collagen and elastin with a controlled wound. However, as we age our body slowly looses the ability to create healthy strands of collagen and elastin. What's it feel like?
Micro needling feels similar to a sunburn. And rest assured, a highly effective numbing agent is applied to reduce any discomfort there may be. Most of my clients have reported feeling next to nothing. As an added bonus, the numbing I have chosen to use does not vaso-constrict; meaning more blood flow to the area and better results compared to other numbing brands used.
After Care
Following the treatment you will be quite red, this is normal. It feels similar to a sunburn. You can expect redness to last 1-3 days, and the feeling of heat on the skin will desipate usually within the first day.

It is essential to avoid excess sun exposure, heat, exercise, steam, or sweating for the first 24-48 hours. Focus on only healing hydrating products for a week after treatment. Avoid any active or exfoliating products in the first week to prevent over exfoliation or stimulation.
